Description
The plastic clamp and bracket that hold the motor parallel to the rear axle. Its narrow ledge lets the gearbox end drop under belt tension, which causes drive belt slip. Sinclair issued a galvanised steel motor bracket as a retrofit in 1985; owners also use a cable tie.
